Sneha Desai, Psy.D.Sneha Desai, Psy.D., is a postdoctoral resident at the Tarnow Center for Self-Management. She received her Doctorate of Psychology from the School of Professional Psychology at Wright State University. She also received her Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Michigan University and her Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Xavier's College, India.

Dr. Desai completed her internship training at the University of Houston's Counseling and Psychological Services. She has also received training at the counseling center at the University of Dayton, Ohio. At both these sites, she worked with college students whose presenting problems included depression, anxiety, interpersonal relationship issues, adjustment issues, as well as academic and career-related concerns. In addition, Dr. Desai has gained tremendous experience in psychological assessments with children, adolescents, and adults of diverse backgrounds in an outpatient treatment clinic for ADHD as well as Wright State University's Assessment Clinic. She has also held adjunct faculty positions teaching general psychology classes at Wright State University as well as the Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio.

Currently, Dr. Desai's interests are related to: adjustment issues faced by college students; the emotional and social development of gifted children; psychological evaluations of adults and children/adolescents; career assessments; and multicultural issues. Dr. Desai is fluent in Hindi and Gujarati.
